The event witnessed the participation of Patricia Sukore Foundation for Women and Children, alongside dedicated volunteers and engaged community members. This session focused on critical issues surrounding Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Child Abuse and Domestic Violence. Participants were enlightened about existing laws designed to combat these offenses, many of whom were previously unaware of their rights and the legal frameworks available for protection. A team of experienced lawyers provided invaluable insights into the legal system, offering legal aid and consultations to those in need at the event. An additional highlight of the clinic was a training session on HIV testing, during which self-examination kits were distributed to empower participants in managing their health. This event underscored the importance of legal awareness in combating violence and supporting survivors. We learned that community education is vital for fostering understanding of legal rights and resources, ultimately empowering individuals to seek justice and support. Together, we can build a safer, more equitable society.
